Not surprisingly to many of us, people want good news. As reported on MSN, NBC news anchor Brian Williams recently said he repeatedly hears from viewers that "We all know it's bad, but the news makes us feel like crawling under a rock...I know there's hopeful news items out there."

As a result, Williams recently asked viewers for good news stories, and indicated "I'm looking at a stack of printed emails.  We have more stories than we could humanly cover if we combined all three network newscasts.  It's hit an unbelievable nerve."

NBC will begin soon airing stories at the end of the broadcast from viewers on "people making a difference."  They are adding a section of videos and stories about making a difference on their website as well.

Now...that is good news!
