Are you a tester and problem solver type who wants to really learn this website inside out?  

I desire to have a team of solid people who I can ask to go "work out" our website - each section one by one as it comes online (like right now we have the Wordpress blogging platform and the Jom Social (friends networking) sections up.  We need to build experts in each of these areas..and more.  

REQUIREMENTS!  To do this you must be:

1)  A self-starter in technology discovery.  You must be courageous and willing to honestly learn the programs we are working on, by going out to get information, by talking and trying and doing it with us in the real world of now.  You must try things yourself, go and watch tutorials to discover how things work and take action as a leader with us!   

2)  As you find limitations that don't work, you go get ideas, come back and try it again, talking with other teammates to figure things out, to see what works for them, and where they get lost.  You must be willing to take the initiative to 'exercise it' and work it out to the maximum potentional, figuring out all its capacity to help our colleagues use it fully.  

3)  You would keep a record and track what you are doing in two different ways:

...so we can build tutorials so we shorten the learning curve for those who come after you 

...so when you find problem and "break it", then you don't look to me to solve it...you work with our team (David or Steve or Joyanne) to solve the problems and actually get it fixed.  This means track what you find, and actually write down the precise sequence of what caused something to break - so that a tech person can go in and see what happened, and has a trail to follow to fix it. 

4)  You would actually test all the features, push all the buttons, find out what works, what breaks, what steps could be streamlined and made more efficient - how to make it more user friendly. 

5)  You make sure the tech people stick with resolving a problem until it actually gets fixed.

I will be grateful to whoever takes on this task...for it is precise work.  Now...the good news is that there are real benefits to this!

You will become a PERSON OF INFLUENCE in designing the systems that direct the flow and the people to get results. 

4) You will MAKE A DIFFERENCE for others through service by "giving back" this skill you have to the team -->  In exchange, you will become the "GO TO" person, an IMPORTANT KEY  RESOURCE for others to call on.  You will matter to how fast they can achieve their goals, and affect our world by helping others gel cause, their projects into galvanized action.

RIGHT NOW THE JOBS WE NEED TO GET DONE:  

1) Joyanne is the master already of WORDPRESS and our blogging platform - she could certainly use an understudy to help us resolve issues of conflict between Jom Social, Joomla and Wordpress.  You could learn from her while you help her make changes, updates, getting certain products up on site, doing HTML coding for certain pages, etc. You could even help her do tutorials and get presentations to market.   In this case, you would be learning from her as an Intern - and she would have you figuring out how it integrates into Joomla and the other modules.   You would learn Wordpress intimately - and it is essentially an open source platform that has high potential for expansion.  That is a huge skill set that you can then take out to the marketplace to get paid setting up others sites, or helping us streamline faster, so we can bring in money faster and share it faster.

2) OUR SOCIAL NETWORKING AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING PLATFORM - JOM SOCIAL.  How does it really work? Who will work with ME, IRENE and all the rest of us to learn how to actually use this platform efficiently and effectively? Who will take on learning to do the emailing, the messaging, the events, the posting of documents, PDF's, photos, videos, etc.  Who will work it out with each one of us...helping us discover its limits, its potential and help us optimize it and expand its capacity?   Again, the benefit is that this is a skill you can then market to the broader marketplace to get paid; and you will be able to do tutorials, trainings, and monetize your work through us.  You could become a specialized trainer...and Jom Social is an expanding software in the open source community. 

3) E-COMMERCE AND DIGITAL PRODUCTS PRODUCTION.  Who wants to learn-by-doing how to do video production in a way you can make money and help people get products to market?  Who wants to really take charge of my cameras, my recorder, my podcasting and audio production work?  Who wants to work closely with Steve and Joyanne to produce products we can sell right now?  Again, this is a skill you can develop with us...where you have to research, be willing to go on line to watch tutorials on video editing, and learn to get it done.  We have so much content, we have resources...we need you to develop a passion to produce.
